In his own words, Frank Hegarty decided to resign due to job and home responsibilities that made it increasingly difficult to represent the people that he served with the time and attention they deserve.  He was in the last year of a 3-year term.  Per our Charter form of government, the TC is responsible for appointing a replacement for the remainder of the year.

Thanks - Mike Brown

Frank was an intregal part in bringing forth some very needed changes in how the budget committee is seen.  The work he and his fellow committee members did on the white paper and in questioning the line items as they did is just what the council needs as an advisory board.  I join others in thanking Frank for his service and hope that someone with a strong interest in the budget will step forward.

I heard John Robinson has tossed his name into the hat.
