“Shocking!” Exeter Deliberative Session, Article Neutered

Steve Young, of Londonderry News, recently sat down for a phone interview with George Herrmann, of Londonderry, and Anne Surman, of Exeter, New Hampshire. Surman has lived in Exeter since 1989 and has been involved in the politics of the town for about ten years. During the interview, Young and Surman discussed the appearance of, what might be called, a “special interest group” during Exeter’s most recent deliberative session and the affect it had on the town’s ability to form a municipal budget committee.
